The Oxley June Long Weekend

With both Matt and Baerin sweeping their women off their feet to the Oxley Boatshed in the past, we decided to check this sanctury out. What an amazing weekend. The four of us walked, canoed, slept, bathed, ate and toasted marshmellows in front of the cosey fire place....and yeh that was about it....ahhh so relaxing. It was a weekend of r&r - as everyone says get heaps of it now before Louka enters the world.

A family baby shower

A family baby shower - Louka and mum to be were very spoilt. Beautiful hand made jumpers, jackets, quilts, booties and hats. We may have to change little Louka every 10 minutes.

It is amazing to think that there is an entire generation that know how to create these beautiful pieces of clothing. I am not sure that my 'throw away society' that I live in will be able to live up to such standards. I guess there is some hope in us yet with Charne and Joey being able to knit and bake......

Baby Louka 26/27 Weeks

Chris had organised for me to meet him at hospital with his echo technicians one afternoon to take some pics of little Louka. This was the only profile he gave us....he looks asleep, although later on he did give us an eye blink on the screen.. that was pretty weird. Louka here was about 26 going on 27 weeks......we love you Louka.....and thanks for the massage for mother's day xoxoxox
