Louka's first Easter was very special as it coupled with my Easter. We took Louka back to St Gerasimos where he was Christened and where we were married, for the Good Friday service. The rain however prohibited us from pariticipating in the whole ceremony. It seemed many Greeks were in the same boat, running for cover with the first drops of rain. Easter Sunday was lovely with a Greek feast of meat at George's taverna. Louka enjoyed seeing all of his family but was finally over it by 4pm and required some quiet time with his Mum and Dad. It was great to have Chris off almost all of the weekend, Louka really enjoyed seeing his Dad every day. Anyway here are some pictures of Easter Sunday lunch.

Camping with the Leach Family
Our weekend to Bundeena was an experience. Celia and myself left Sydney early Friday to pitch tents and settle before husbands joined us after work. With babies strapped to our backs we managed to to pitch two family tents, surprising and impressing ourselves. Friday and Saturday (election day) were lovely and sunny but things dramatically changed with a huge southerly change. Again the ladies managed to provide more shelter with the erection of the tarp but it was all too much for us, well mostly the husbands, mainly Chris. With and SMS to the Leach's tent at 6am which was really 5am (daylight savings finishing) from Chriss "lets get the hell out of here". A qucik evacuation was on the cards. We voted Matt to sit in the tent to babysit while we pulled down the tents. We then required Matt's help so strapped the boys in the Subaru and threw everything into the 3 cars and drove back to The Barn in Rozelle for big brekkies....and lots of COFFEE. But all the same it was FUN. Lots of birds, ducks and nature for the kids to see. And fishing, beer and sun for the boys. And a few bottle of CHARDONNAY for the ladies. Camping with babies, TICK. WHat next?
