Louka's new things

Louka loves his new rocking horse that George bought for him. Although he really has no idea what it is, he nevertheless enjoys the swinging and the neighing sounds it makes (although Chris stands over him and mouths the noise of the horse so Louka thinks it is Dad)...either way he thinks it is funny. Go little Buddy!!!!!!!!

Louka recently upgraded to a forward facing baby seat. He loves it as he can finally see what all this driving is all about. He rides with his American Green dragon which provide him with two yellow horns to chew on whilst heading off to sleep to the American accent of 'Row, row, row your boat'.

Oz Day 2007

We all enjoyed another Clovelly picnic and swimming Australia Day. Louka must have been sleeping whilst these photos were taken. Here are a few shots of the adults for a change as well as a Manny with Grandma Sheila shot and a cute Lilly smile.

In Memory....

To my Uncle Terry..."you will forever remain in my memories. Thank you for all of your kindness over the years, including all of those pretty dresses you would buy me as a little girl to letting me stay with you in Coolangatta during those crazy months of schoolies (and looking over my shoulder then for my poor Mum who was worried sick about me).

For not getting too mad at me when I tried to save you money by putting less dollars than you asked me to on the winning horse at the Magic Millions.

I will always remember one of the last dances at any of our family functions being one of your favourite songs 'New York, New York' - Frank Sinatra. I will continue to dance to this song everytime I hear it and think of you. And when driving in a car and hearing 'Give me One Reason to Stay Here' - Tracy Chapman, I will sing at the top of my lungs with the windows down, like we use to do.

You were much loved by everyone. You will be very much missed FOREVER.

Heatwave in Sydney

Today was SO SO SO hot. We were house bound pretty much and Louka enjoyed the day on the fluffy rug with no clothes and cool baths. He is 5 months now and just getting cuter everyday. He is rolling from front to back (if he has to, he is not a big fan of being on his tummy though). Lots of smiles, screams and laughs. He recognises himself in the mirror and gives a chuckle. And is passing toys from one hand to the other. His favourite toys at present are 'Lovely Dog' (daggy) rattle, Green American Dragon and his wraps (he loves to hide and chew on these).

Harry's 1st Birthday

Harry's 1st birthday was enjoyed by all. "One day there were no kids then the next there are kids everywhere" I said to Pip. Leila was very excited to assist her brother in blowing out his 1 and only candle. Hip, Hip, Hooray Harry xoxoxoxox

Very proud Dads and Sons.

Harun's 1st Birthday

Harun turns 1. His small friends and big friends gather at Glebe to celebrate. Who can believe a year has passed...although Siiri says she can and I think I know what she means...some days can feel very long but we would not change a thing. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARUN!!!!!!

Louka was enjoying the attention from all of Harun's family. And here is a lovely shot of Jo and the only baby girl amongst us at present, Ruby.

Christmas 2006 with the Stopps Family @ Toukley

The Saturday before Christmas, Charne, Louka and myself visited Toukley for a Stopps Family Christmas picnic. Dad came down from Cowra which was great. It was a lovely day all thanks to Nanna Stopps who organised it all. Louka was excellent the whole day. And we were all very spoilt.

It was Louka's first Christmas of which he was very spoilt...lukcy boy. Another beautiful lunch on the balcony with seafood, Christmas meats and PLENTY of desserts.
